Syrah is an international grape variety known for its spicy notes. Bosco del Merlo interprets these with great elegance. The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness in the last days of September. After maceration, the wine is aged in oak barriques to allow the original tannins to mature without removing them from the wood, thus lending the wine a softness. The result is an intense red wine with garnet reflections. The aroma offers notes of red fruits, such as blackcurrant jam or sour cherry. Beautiful and fresh, with a hint of licorice.
